We understand that you will have questions before you decide to use pak-n-stor™, and through our extensive experience in this industry we have come across them all. Please see below for a list of frequently asked questions about mobile self storage from people like you!

Q: How does the container lock?

A: Our QuickPak™ storage containers are locked by a padlock of your choice. This way only YOU have access to your container and you keep the key until you're ready to view your belongings.


Q: What are the dimensions of each QuickPak™ storage container?

A: Each QuickPak™ storage container measures 5' wide by 8' long by 7' tall and stores approximately 1 - 1.5 rooms.


Q: How much weight can each QuickPak™ storage container hold?

A: You can store up to 2000 lbs of belongings in each QuickPak™ storage container. Please read the mobile self storage Do's and Don'ts for further information.


Q: If I need to access my container while stored, can I do so?

A: Absolutely! You can access your container at any time during regular business hours. Just call us 24 hours in advance and we'll schedule a time for you in our warehouse viewing area.


Q: Can I keep the QuickPak™ storage container(s) over the weekend?

A: Yes! We understand that you have more free time on Saturday and Sunday, so we are happy to leave the QuickPak™ storage containers with you over the weekend. We'll pick them up full on Monday or the next business day.

Q: Do you pack the storage container for me?

A: No, the benefit of our system is that you do-it-yourself and save on expensive labor costs. However, we can refer loaders if required.

Q: Where are our containers stored?

A: Our current location is unit 1, 4020 9th Street SE, Calgary. View Map

Q: Is there a minimum rental period?

A: Our billing period is by calendar month. 1st to the end of the month - which covers storage costs for the entire month. You may use the QuickPak™ storage container for less than 1 month but the minimum charge of 1 month will be applied.

Q: Are my contents insured while in storage?

A: pak-n-stor™ offers three choices for our customers:

  1. You choose to self-insure, which means you assume all risks.
  2. You choose an insurer of your choice while your goods are in storage - such as your home insurance provider.
  3. You choose to insure with pak-n-stor's insurer. Contact us for further details.
